350 Syro-Malabar Holy Mass in English
God the Father, You are holy. You alone are the true Father!
All Fatherhood in heaven and on earth comes from you. Eter-
nal Son, You are holy. Everything was created through You.
Holy Spirit, You are Holy. Everything is sanctified through
                                  You.
Woe to me! I am dismayed! For, my lips are unclean. And I
live in the midst of people with unclean lips. My eyes have
seen the King, the almighty Lord. How awe-inspiring is this
place / where today I have seen the Lord face to face! This is
none other than the House of God! Lord, may your mercy be
on us. Clean us who are unclean and sanctify our lips. Lord,
enjoin the hymns of us, who are feeble, with the praises of the
Seraphim and the Archangels. Praise be to your mercy that
has unified the inhabitants of heaven and earth.
                                                 ----------------------------------
(The celebrant recites the Third G'hantha with closed
                                      palms and bowed head).

CEL: Lord, Our God! Together with the heavenly hosts we give
You thanks. We glorify and bless God the Word, hidden off-
spring from your bosom. He is Your own likeness and splendor /
and the Image of Your own Being. Setting aside His equality
with You, He emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant /
born of a woman / he became a complete human being / with a
rational, intelligent, and immortal soul, and a mortal body. He
subjected Himself to the law / in order to redeem those who were
under the law. He left for us the memorial of our salvation / this
redemptive mystery / which we now offer before You.
                                                                                        BELL
CEL: Lord, our God! We commemorate the passion of Your
beloved Son / as He taught us. On the night He was handed over /
Jesus took bread (takes the paten with both hands) in his pure and
holy hands / Lifted up His eyes to Heaven (raises his eyes to-
wards heaven) to You, the adorable Father / Blessed it, +++ /
Broke it / and Gave it to the disciples, saying: "This is my
Body / which is broken for You for the forgiveness of sins.
Take this all of you and eat it."

                               ALL: Amen (BELL)
