                                      name  of  the  most  glorious  Trinity /  the  Father,  the  Son
                                      and the Holy Spirit. Lord, our God / through these holy
                                      mysteries / may the holy Church here and everywhere /
                                      and  all  of  us  obtain  remission  of  debts  /  forgiveness  of
                                      sins / hope for resurrection / and new life in the kingdom
                                      of heaven. Now, always, and forever.

                                      (The celebrant places the two halves on the paten  one
                                      upon the other cross-wise so that the broken end of the
                                      particle below faces the chalice, and the particle above,
                                      the priest. Then he bows and with his right thumb makes
                                      the sign of the cross on his forehead. Then he unfolds
                                      the veil,  which is wrapped around the sacred mysteries
                                      and says:)

                                      Praise to You, Our Lord, Jesus Christ. For although I am
                                      unworthy / in Your mercy You ordained me the minister
                                      and mediator of these glorious / life-giving, holy, and di-
                                      vine mysteries. By Your grace, make me worthy for the
                                      remission of debts and forgiveness of sins. Amen.

                                      (The celebrant bows, he crosses himself and says the fol-
                                      lowing prayer in a loud voice.)

                               CEL:  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ / the love of God the
                               Father / and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit / be with us all /
                               now, + always and forever. (The celebrant signs himself)

                               ALL:  Amen.

                               SER:  Let us approach the mysteries of the Precious Body and
                               Blood of our Savior / with reverence and respect. With the hope,
                               arising  from  repentance  /  let  us  turn  away  from  wrong-doing  /
                               repent of our sins / and forgive the trespasses of our brothers and
                               sisters. Let us pray to God, the Lord of all / for mercy and for-
                               giveness.

                               ALL:  Lord, forgive the sins / and offences of Your servants.

                               SER:  Let us cleanse our hearts / turning away from dissensions
                               and conflicts.
