                               ALL:  Lord our God, we commend ourselves to You.

                               CEL:  O Jesus, You offered Yourself as a sacrifice on Calvary /
                               so that the Church may become Your spotless bride. Be pleased
                               in this congregation / which is being nourished by Your precious
                               Body and Blood. Help us to remain one with You / as You re-
                               main one with the Father / in the love of the Holy Spirit. Grant us
                               the grace of perseverance / as we are awaiting a life of everlast-
                               ing joy. The Lord of all, forever.

                               ALL:  Amen

                                               MEMORIAL OF THE DEAD

                               SER:  Let us all stand together with faith and hope / and pray,
                               "Lord, we beseech You."

                               ALL:  Lord, we beseech You. (Repeat after each prayer).

                               SER:  Lord, we beseech You to welcome to eternal joy / our de-
                               parted brother (sister) / who became worthy of heaven through
                               baptism. Let us Pray.

                               SER:  Bless our brothers and sisters, who are experiencing sor-
                               row in purgatory, to receive eternal joy. Let us pray.

                               SER:  We beseech You to be merciful / to forgive the debts of
                               the dead / through the passion of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

                               SER:  May our brothers and sisters, who died in the hope of res-
                               urrection, be made worthy to participate / in the glory of the res-
                               urrection of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

                               SER:  Bless our brothers and sisters, who were nourished by the
                               Body and Blood of Christ, and who are in the sleep of death, be
                               given eternal life. Let us pray.

                               SER:  May we receive the grace to resurrect / at the day of judg-
                               ment / in radiance surpassing that of the sun. Let us pray.

                               SER:  May  we  reach  the  kingdom  of  heaven,  which  has  been
                               prepared from the beginning of the world for all the just. Let us
                               pray.
