SER: Let us commend ourselves and one another / to the Fa-
ther, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

ALL: Lord our God, we commend ourselves to You.

CEL: Lord our God, look kindly on Your Church / which is
striving to join with the suffering life / of the Lamb of God to ob-
tain holiness. Help us to continue the sacrificial life of Your Son /
by taking up our crosses with joy. Help us to observe this Lenten
season fruitfully / through the grace of prayer, love towards our
neighbors, and self denial. The Lord of all, forever.

SEASON OF RESURRECTION

SER: Let us all stand together with joy and exultation / and
pray, "Lord, hear our prayer."

ALL: Lord, hear our prayer. (Repeat after each prayer).

SER: Lord Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life. We
pray that / as we rejoice in Your resurrection, / You may lead us
from darkness to light, / from falsehood to truth / and from death
to life. We pray to You, O Lord.

SER: Lord, through Your resurrection / You have raised the
cross / which was a symbol of shame to a symbol of glory. Help
us to crucify our body / along with its iniquities to the cross / and
to obtain everlasting life. We pray to You, O Lord.

SER: Lord, bless abundantly our ministers / in their efforts in
leading God's people / into the glory of everlasting life. We pray
to You, O Lord.

SER: Lord, bless the poor, the sick, the afflicted, / and the ones
who are being persecuted for righteousness, / so that they may
protect the faith / and complete their race to obtain the crown of
glorious resurrection / and indescribable heavenly bliss. We pray
to You, O Lord.
