Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Bins Chethalil as the director of Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Mission in Tampa with effect from July 1, 2010. Fr. Aby Vadakkekara was the former director.
The consecration of the church and the elevation of the mission as a parish with Rev. Fr. Bins Chethalil as its first pastor, was held on August 1, 2010 by His Excellency Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath, along with Archbishop Mar Mathew Moolakkatt and Mar Joseph Pandarasseril.

Bins Chethalil from his service at Carteret, NY parish and Philadelphima mission and appointed as the associate pastor of Chicago Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Parish with effect from November 1, 2023. Mar Joy Alappatt transferred him from this parish to Dallas Christ the King Knanaya Catholic Parish as its pastor with effect from September 15, 2025.
Mar Joy Alappatt appointed Rev. Fr. Bins Chethalil as the pastor of Dallas Christ the King Knanaya Catholic Parish with effect from September 15, 2025 replacing Rev. Fr. Abraham Kalarickal.
