Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Abey Vadakkekara as the fulltime director of Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Mission in Tampa on March 9, 2009. Fr. Abraham Mutholath was the former director.
The church building complex that the mission rented was available for sale. The mission bought the church building on March 16, 2010 from the City Church of Tampa under the leadership of Fr. Abey Vadakkekara and remodeled it for the Syro-Malabar Qurbana.
Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Bins Chethalil as the mission director with effect from July 1, 2010.
Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Abey Vadakkekara as the pastor of Holy Family Knanaya Catholic Parish, Atlanta from July 1, 2010. Fr. Stany Edathiparambil was the former pastor.
Fr. Abey Vadakkekara served until Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Dominic Madathilkalathil as the pastor of this parish on November 1, 2011.
