The Latin Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago appointed Fr. Simon Edathiparambil as the director of Knanaya Catholic Mission on August 16, 1995. The previous director was Fr. Cyriac Manthuruthil.
Fr. Simon Edathiparambil served the mission until the Latin Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago appointed Fr. Philip Thodukayil as the director of on June 25, 1999.
