ASSIGNMENTS

HOUSTON (ASSOCIATE PASTOR)  (2022 June 15 – 2022 July 30)

Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Joby Puchookandathil at the associate of Houston Knanaya Catholic Parish with effect from June 15 2022. He was then transferred on July 30, 2022 to serve as the pastor of Knanaya Catholic parish, Orlando while serving also as the associate pastor of Tampa. He served under the guidance of Fr. Suni Padinjarekkara while serving as the associate pastor of Houston.

TAMPA (ASSOCIATE PASTOR) ( 2022 July 30 – 2025 September 15)

Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Joby Puchookandathil with effect fom July 30, 2022. He serves under the guidance of the pastor Fr. Jose Adoppallil while serving also as the pastor of Knanaya Catholic Parish of Orlando. He was transferred as Pastor of St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Parish, Rockland, NY and mission director of St. Joseph Knanaya Catholic Mission Westchester-Bronx and mission director of Holy Family Knanaya Catholic Mission, Connecticut, with effect from September 15, 2025.

ORLANDO (2022 July 30 – 2025 September 15)

Mar Jacob Angadiath relieved Fr. Jose Adoppillil as pastor of this parish on July 30, 2022 and appointed Fr. Joby Puchookandathil as the pastor from July 30, 2022. He was transferred as Pastor of St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Parish, Rockland, NY and mission director of St. Joseph Knanaya Catholic Mission Westchester-Bronx and mission director of Holy Family Knanaya Catholic Mission, Connecticut, with effect from September 15, 2025.

ROCKLAND, NEW YORK (2025 September 15 – )

Mar Joy Alappatt appointed Rev. Fr. Joby Puchookandathil as the pastor of this parish with effect from September 15, 2025 replacing Rev. Fr. Bipy Tharayil.
