Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Mathew Meledath as the fulltime director of the Knanaya Catholic Mission, Detroit on August 15, 2009. Fr. Abraham Mutholath was the former director.
Under the leadership of Fr. Mathew Meledath, the mission purchased a church building on May 27, 2010. Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath, along with Mar Mathew Moolakkatt and Mar Joseph Pandarasseril consecrated this church on July 17, 2010. Mar Jacob Angadiath elevated the mission as a Parish and appointed Fr. Mathew Meledath as the first pastor.
Fr. Mathew Meledath started a prayer group in Toronto by traveling from Detroit. That later developed as St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Mission of Toronto. Fr. Mathew Meledath served the Detroit parish until Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Philip Ramachanattu was the pastor from May 6, 2013.
Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Mathew Meledath as the pastor of St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Parish, Houston from May 6, 2013. He served the parish until Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Saji Pinarkayil as pastor of from October 18, 2014.

Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Mathew Meledath as the director of St. Pope John Paul II Knanaya Catholic Mission, Sacramento along with his responsibility as pastor of San Jose Knanaya Catholic Parish on June 28, 2016. Fr. Pathrose Champakkara was the previous director.
Fr. Mathew Meledath served the mission until Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Saji Pinarkayil as the director of the mission along with his responsibility as pastor of San Jose Knanaya Catholic Parish on May 1, 2018.
The Knanaya Catholic in Tracy, CA has been part of St. Mary’s Forane Parish San Jose. Because of distance to travel, the Knanaya Catholics in Tracy wished to have Holy Mass also in Tracy. Under the initiative of Vicar General Fr. Thomas Mulavanal and vicar Fr. Mathew Meledath, Mar Jacob Angadiath established a Knanaya Catholic Mission in Tracy as a station of San Jose Knanaya Catholic Forane with Fr. Mathew Meledath as the director.
Vicar General Fr. Thomas Mulavanal inaugurated the mission on July 23, 2017. Fr. Mathew Meledath served the mission until Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Saji Pinarkayil as the director of the mission along with his responsibility as pastor of St. Mary’s Parish of San Jose from May 1, 2018.
Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Mathew Meledath as pastor of Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Mission in Tampa from May 1, 2018. Fr. Joseph Saurimakal was the former pastor.
Fr. Mathew Meledath served the parish until Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Jose Adoppallil as pastor from January 1, 2020.
Fr. Mathew Meledath, the pastor of Knanaya Catholic Parish of Tampa and Vicar General and Knanaya Region director Fr. Thomas Mulavanal took initiative to establish a Knanaya Catholic Mission in Orlando. Mar Jacob Angadiath established St. Stephen Knanaya Catholic Mission of Orlando on June 24, 2018 and appointed Fr. Mathew Meledath, as its director. Auxiliary Bishop Mar Joy Alappatt inaugurated the mission on the same day.
Fr. Mathew Meledath served the mission until Mar Jacob Angadiath appointed Fr. Jose Adoppillil as the mission director from January 1, 2020.
