Mission Statement

The mission of the Knanaya Catholic Region is to nurture Catholic faith, strengthen families and communities, preserve the Syro-Malabar and Knanaya heritage, and form future generations as faithful disciples of Christ through worship, faith formation, fellowship, service, and charity.

Members of Knanaya Region

Membership in the Knanaya Catholic Region may be recognized through any one of the following pathways: (1) registration in a Knanaya Catholic parish or mission of the Region; (2) formal affiliation with the Region where no parish or mission is locally available; or (3) regular and active participation in the pastoral, liturgical, sacramental, or community life of the Region. In all cases, the person must be a Knanaya Catholic residing in the United States and belong to either the Syro-Malabar or Syro-Malankara Catholic tradition.
