We believe in one Holy Spirit; the spirit of truth, who pro-
ceeds from the Father and the Son / the life giving Spirit.
We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We
confess one baptism / for the remission of sins, the resurrection
of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

All go to the baptistery in procession.
During the procession sing the following hymn.

വാ ി ാടാം കർ ാവിൻ / പാവനമാകും തിരുനാമം
സീമാതീത മഹ വ്ം നാം / സാദരെമ ം കീർ ിക്കാം.

പാതെയാരുക്കാനാഗതനാം / േയാഹ ാനിൽ നി ീേശാ
േയാർ ാൻ നദിയിൽ വിനയേമാെട / മാേ ാദീസാ ൈകെക്കാ .

After reaching the baptistery

SER: Dear brothers and sisters, the celebrant starts praying for
himself / in preparation for administering holy baptism / that
gives the divine life. Standing in reverence and diligence, let us
now pray in silence.

CEL: Lord, You who seek out the lost and gather up the scat-
tered, have chosen this humble servant for priestly ministry in
Your Church. Fulfilling all righteousness you received baptism
from John the Baptist from Jordan, and also appointed the apos-
tles to administer the same. Grant me the grace to administer this
sacrament in a worthy manner, Lord of all, forever.

ALL: Amen.

Blessing the Oil and Water

CEL: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the
Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Now,

always + and forever.
