SEASON OF LENT

CEL: Lord our God, we praise You for allowing us / to take
part in the mysteries of salvation of Your divine Son. Father, we
who went away from You due to sin, / approach You with con-
trite hearts. Make us worthy to offer this sacrifice of reparation
and thanksgiving / with Christ in humility and purity of heart.
The Lord of all, forever.

ALL: Amen.
PSALMS

CEL: All Your workers / shall give thanks to You, O Lord,
and all Your saints shall bless You.

ALL: Lord our Savior, help us.
For the sake of Your holy name, / forgive us our sins.

CEL: They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom,
and tell of Your power.

ALL: The Lord upholds all who are falling,
and raises up all who are bowed down.

CEL: The eyes of all look to You,
and You give them their food in due season.

ALL: The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
to all who call upon Him in truth.

CEL: He fulfills the desire of all / who fear Him.

ALL: He also hears their cry, and saves them.

CEL: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit,

ALL: As it was in the beginning is now
