His Excellency Mar Jacob Angadiath has raised the following parishes of the Knanaya Region of the diocese into forane status.

4. St. Stephen Knanaya Catholic Church Hempstead, NY
5. St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church San Jose, CA
The official announcement of these parishes into forane status was done during Kaikkarans' meeting at Mar Thoma Sleeha Cathedral on Saturday February 28, 2015. The parish priests of the above mentioned are raised to the rank of the Protopresbyters/forane vicars.
